Off Campus Access

Login

You can access e-books, e-journals and databases from home if you are a current student, faculty or staff member.
If you are presented with the Login screen use the Student and Staff login using network ID to continue.
Use the same BCIT ID# (e.g. A00...) and Password as when you login to the computers on campus.
There is more information on How to login (students) if you're having trouble.

You can also contact the Service Desk at 604-432-8370 or by email if you need to establish your current eligibility status.

Can't Find What You Are Looking For...

If BCIT Library doesn’t own the book or journal article that you need, we will borrow it from another library. This service is called Interlibrary Loan or ILL and is available at no charge for BCIT students and employees

If you have searched the Library Catalogue and the book you need is not listed, use our online forms to: 

Request a book
Request a chapter from a book
Request a conference proceedings

Alternatively, send an email to interlib@bcit.ca providing your student number, citation, and date needed by. Please use your @my.bcit.ca email account.
