International Women's Day

Join the BCIT Learning & Teaching Centre and the BCIT Library for our third International Women’s Day celebration!

BCIT’s 2022 IWD celebration will feature two Zoom events.

ASL interpretation will be provided, courtesy of Diversity Circles

The morning event will feature music and a panel of women from BC and around the world. The topic of discussion will be what Truth and Reconciliation looks like in other countries, e.g., in South Africa and for the Sámi people of northern Europe.

The mid-day event will feature music and a panel of BCIT Instructors sharing their experiences Indigenizing their curriculum. 

Kathy Kinloch will deliver some remarks on what will be her final IWD as BCIT president.
